StubHub
A community record of absolute middleman incompetence. Scalper-maxxing, cancelled orders, and the audacity to re-sell your own tickets to you at a markup. All in one place.
Two orders. Same day. Same artist. Both cancelled. Then StubHub emailed promotional "re-purchase" suggestions at higher prices. The audacity is not a bug - it is the product.
Press SEARCH to browse available tickets. Your odds of actually receiving what you pay for: 0%
StubHub does not sell tickets. They sell the illusion of tickets. The actual inventory is held by scalpers and bots running on macroslop infrastructure - a daisy-chain of API calls held together with hope and negative customer goodwill.
When the system glitches (which is often, because it is a giant pile of microrot), you do not get a ticket. You get a cancellation email and a coupon. Then they list the same seat at a higher price and send you a promotional email suggesting you buy it again.
This is not a bug. This is the business model. Scalper-maxxing: the art of inserting yourself between a fan and an artist, providing negative value, and charging 27% for the privilege.
Boycott the middleman. Buy direct from the venue box office. Use face-value exchanges. Demand that artists use verified fan systems that actually work. And if StubHub cancels your order?
Save the receipt. Post it here. Let the record show.
